Volkswagen (VW) Polo has been named the world’s best car (WCOTY) event in 2010 at New York Auto Show (NYAS) in 2010, Thursday (last week), in New York, United States (U.S.).
Before reaching WCOTY, Polo rid of Mercedes Benz E-Class and Toyota Prius. “We are honored that VW was chosen by the jury as the best car the world this year. This victory shows that we currently are on the right track and proofed that the quality of our products are recognized the world, “said Chairman of the Board of Commissioners Volkswagen AG, Martin Winterkorn. Vehicles selected by a panel of international jury consisting of 59 automotive journalists from 25 countries worldwide. Each juror was appointed by the World Car Steering Committee on the basis of their expertise, experience, credibility, and influence to the automotive industry.
Each juror typically test and evaluate new vehicles on a regular basis as part of their professional work.
